It can be used in the extraction of sand materials with direct loading to barges. It is possible to develop a dry shoreline (the cutting edge of the scoop extends beyond the bow transom 4 m). The dredger is undergoing deconservation, redesign of class P1,2 (ice) to class O2,0 and modernization to modern dredging automation equipment.
